ABOUT OUR COFFEE

We serve Breckenridge Coffee Roasters coffee, Servant Coffee, and Helix Roasters Daily, we have Breck Coffee Roasters Honduras- Reserva Pacavita and Tribute from Servant.

SUPPORT LOCAL

The Crown is locally owned and operated. Many of our staff members have been with us for years and are true contributors to our small mountain town community. Our kids go to school here, we volunteer our time for many local boards, we shop local, we donate local, we participate in sustainability efforts to keep our county beautiful for generations to come.

SUSTAINABILITY EFFORTS

The Crown is proud to engage in the following sustainability efforts:

  • Composting. We currently only compost out of the kitchen to ensure the purity of our compost going to our community compost pile. To date, we have contributed more than 30,000 LBS. Thank you to Summit Rolloffs for allowing businesses like ours to contribute. You can find more information about our community compost HERE.‍ ‍

  • Recycling. We currently recycle paper, glass, and plastic. If you are unsure what to put in our recycling, please put your item in a bus bin and we are happy to sort it for you. To-go coffee cups and our compostable to go containers are not recyclable.

  • Local purveyors. We are happy to serve products from local companies. Here is a list of products we currently purchase locally. If you are curious about a specific brand or product, please call.

    • Bagels

  • We are proud to be part of our local Sustainable Breck program. Our local High Country Conservation Center has given us Bronze award for their green business program.

  • LED lighting and low flow toilets.

  • Donating to local charities and fundraisers.

The Crown is proud to support local artists. We have rotating art shows every month featuring a different local artist. If you are interested in participating, please contact sara@thecrownbreckenridge.com for more information. Please note that most shows are booked out 15 months.

A NOTE FROM THE OWNERS:

Thanks to our locals and to those coming to visit us on your trip to Breckenridge. We bought The Crown back in 2013 and value how it has given us the opportunity to be community members and share our love for this town with visitors.
